Terms of Streatham

Welcome to Streatham Vehicle Hire Services. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of our website carhirestreatham.co.uk and our vehicle rental services. By using our services

1. Streatham Rental Agreement

All Streatham vehicle rentals are governed by a Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or when you collect the vehicle. The agreement sets out the applicable terms, conditions, insurance cover, charges and your responsibilities for that rental. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement prevails.

2. Streatham Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Streatham, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old to hire a vehicle from Streatham (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type, with additional charges possible for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Streatham Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification and proof of address, and supply any other documents requested at the time of vehicle collection.

3. Booking and Payment — Streatham

  • Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Streatham location. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are typically due at vehicle collection. All prices are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Vehicle Collection and Return — Streatham

  • At Streatham you must inspect the vehicle thoroughly at collection and report any pre-existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and Streatham staff. Return the vehicle in the same condition as when collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage found on return will be assessed and charged to you.

5. Insurance and Liability for Streatham

  • Basic third-party insurance is included with all Streatham rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are provided in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to limit your financial responsibility. Please review these options carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount stated in the Rental Agreement.

6. Streatham Cancellation Policy

Streatham's cancellation and amendment policies vary by booking type and notice period. Please refer to your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for specific details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Streatham Prohibitions

You must not use a Streatham vehicle for:

  • Use of a Streatham vehicle for any illegal purpose or activity. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting to third parties or allowing unauthorized drivers. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Use for purposes for which the vehicle is not designed...

Violating these restrictions may result in immediate Streatham rental termination and fees.

8. Streatham Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Streatham Vehicle Hire Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total amount you paid for those services in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law (Streatham)

These terms and your use of Streatham are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Amendments to Streatham Terms

Streatham may modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting on Streatham's website. Your continued use of Streatham's services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
